In its quest to project the Ghanaian jewellery industry on the international market, City of Gold Jewellers located at Daban a suburb of Kumasi has showcased its range of products at Vicenzaro trade fair in Italy.
Vicenzaro trade fair which is organised every January and September by the Italian government, is opened to all industries across the world from handcraft to machine made products, food, clothing, home appliances, automobile, jewellery and others.
This year’s trade fair exhibition started on September 3- 7.
The Chief Executive Officers (CEO) City of Gold Jewellers Richard Prah affectionately called ‘Richard of Daban’ explained that he took advantage of the opportunity when he was given invitation to present his products to the world.
‘There was an invitation to the Ghanaian government last year unfortunately people did not take advantage of it. City of Gold Jewellers personally took advantage to visit one that was organised by Vicenzaro Dubai in the UAE. Through that we were given the opportunity to be part of this one in Italy which is dubbed Vicenzaro September,’ he said.
According to him, they have made contacts with world producers of Jewellery and accessories, expressing hope that something good comes out of it in future.
